Cognitive (IQ) assessments provide information regarding you or your child's intellectual ability and cognitive profile such as verbal comprehension, visual spatial, fluid reasoning, working memory and processing speed.
These assessments are often useful to include in addition to other neurodevelopmental assessments such as in an autism or ADHD assessment, to provide additional information about cognitive strengths and weaknesses which may be part of your child's presentation.

Our Nonverbal IQ Assessments provide a more valid measure of IQ for those who have limited understanding of or ability to communicate in English and are suitable for those who are deaf, nonverbal/nonspeaking, or culturally and linguistically diverse. All instructions and responses are provided with gesture (i.e., no spoken words).
Our standard Nonverbal IQ Assessment is completed over one appointment and takes up to 90 minutes to complete.
If you wish to include academic testing, we can discuss how to make this accessible for you or your child, for example, by using an interpreter.
