Our most common location is Burnie and we schedule regular visits spaced out throughout the year.
Here is some information you may find useful, with pictures to help those who may be a little anxious about coming to a new space.
Where to find us:
Our outreach clinics are located at a local Catholic School - usually Stella Maris Catholic Primary School. This is located at 24 Futuna Ave, Park Grove TAS.
Please note: Don't mix it up Stella Maris with 'Marist', the local Catholic High School, which is just around the corner! Please call or text us if you do get lost!
We occasionally come to Queenstown, Devonport and Launceston. Please contact the practice for details on upcoming trips to an alternative location. When attending the North West, we will let you know if your assessment is somewhere other than Burnie.
When you arrive, please let the school administration team know you are here for Rosie Psychology and they will let us know you have arrived.
Parents can wait in the staffroom and, depending on your child, are usually free to head off to Burnie for a coffee while you wait.
Most parent sessions are completed via zoom either before or after our week away so we can assess as many kids as possible on each trip!
We offer these assessments at our outreach clinics:
Autism assessments for ages 6 to 16
ADHD assessments for ages 6 to 16
Educational assessments for ages 6 to adulthood
Cognitive assessments including early entry to kindergarten or prep, from ages 3 to adulthood
Nonverbal IQ assessments for ages 5 to 21
Academic reassessments for ages 6 to adulthood
