When is our admin team available?

You are welcome to phone the practice anytime within business hours. As an assessment practice, our admin team has a lot of important work to complete in preparation for each client's appointments, and as such, Carolyn, Taylor and Sarah are at times, unavailable. Some phone calls can require an extended conversation, meaning others calls go to voicemail. During our dedicated phone hours, a member of the admin team is dedicated to answering phone enquiries, and will be available to take your call (or phone you back within the hour, should the line be busy).

Cancellation Policy

At Rosie Psychology we require two full business days' notice for any reschedules or cancellations. 
 
This means that if your appointment is at 12pm on a Friday, you would need to notify us of any changes by 12pm Wednesday. For an appointment at 3pm on a Monday, you would need to notify us by 3pm on the preceding Thursday. We will of course attempt to fill cancelled appointments by offering them to other clients, but should we be unable to do so, the cancellation fee of $110 per 50-60 minutes of booked time, will be payable. For multiple cancellations or non-attendances, the full fee may be payable.

Location Information

Lindisfarne Practice

  • Is located off the Woolworths car park, down a small driveway between the pharmacy and hair dresser.
  • Parking is available onsite. 
  • We share the practice with a GP and the reception desk you will see is for the doctor's clients (our admin team works offsite). There is no need to 'check in' with reception, please just take a seat in the waiting area and your psychologist will come get you at your appointment time. 
  • The GP practice kindly requests there is no eating in the waiting room but you may enjoy snacks outside, or within the consult rooms.
  • Please be advised there is often a friendly dog or two at this location.

Kingston Practice

  • Is located at the Tremaur Medical Centre.
  • There is ample parking at the back of the building.
  • We share the practice with the GP's and the reception desk you will see is for the doctors' clients (our admin team work offsite). There is no need to 'check in' with reception, please just take a seat in the waiting area and your psychologist will come get you at your appointment time.

Outreach Clinics

  • Are typically located within a Catholic School in the area. 
  • You will be advised which school the assessment will take place with your booking confirmation. We are usually at Stella Maris in Burnie.
  • Please let admin school staff know you are there for an assessment with Rosie Psychology and they will let you know where to wait.

Appointments via zoom

  • You will receive an email with your Zoom link at least two days before your appointment. This email will be in addition to your appointment reminder text and email. 
  • Please join your Zoom session 5 minutes prior to your appointment start time to check for technical difficulties and wait for your psychologist to start your session.
  • All parent/carer intakes and diagnostic interviews, and feedback sessions can be completed via Zoom (e.g., if you have mild cold and flu symptoms).
  • Please note, all child/adolescent assessment sessions cannot be completed via Zoom.
